According to statistics, during the first 11 months of 2009, Hubei Textile achieved an added value of 26.61 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.7%, which is higher than the growth rate over the same period in the past few years. The growth rate of the apparel industry accelerated, with 470 million garments, a year-on-year increase of 36.2%. The chemical fiber industry changed its negative growth over the same period of last year, with a year-on-year increase of 65.2%.
