Prevention and control of whitefly in flower greenhouse

Whitefly is one of the common pests in the greenhouse. It is small in size, difficult to find, and has a high incidence rate. It can damage a variety of flowers if it is not timely controlled.
First, the characteristics of white meal and the habits of whitefly, the larvae and eggs are fixed on the back of the plant leaves, sucking plant juice, especially in the young leaves, causing the leaves to fade, yellow, wither, until dry. The excrement of whitefly can cause coal pollution and affect the flowering and ornamental effects. Whitefly has the characteristics of migratory and is the medium for spreading plant viruses. It is a flower and shrub that is red, cineraria, quince, azalea, hibiscus, hydrangea, pansy and succulent plants.

The whitefly cockroach is yellowish white, the fin membrane is transparent, and the surface has a white waxy powder covering, hence the name white peony. Small, easy to fly, not easy to capture. White powder is a warm, non-ventilated environment. It occurs more than 10 generations a year. It breeds fast, has a large amount of eggs, and has a serious overlap. It overwinters on greenhouse plants in various insect states. Adults live in groups, lay eggs on the back of the upper leaves, and feed on. When adults inhabit the leaves, they are often distributed in pairs. The plants continue to grow, and the adults continue to shift to the young leaves. In the upper part of the plant, the adult and the newly laid eggs are followed by the brown-black eggs that will be hatched, and the larvae of the first and third instars, and the lower part of the larvae, and the feathers that have been feathered. shell. Second, prevention and treatment methods 1. Horticultural control Clear the weeds around the greenhouse and greenhouse to reduce the source of insects.

2. Chemical control 80% dichlorvos 1:2 plus water atomization fumigation, according to 1 ml of raw liquid per cubic meter, every 5 to 7 days, each time the fumigation must close the doors and windows. Can also spray 2.5% deltamethrin 2000 times liquid, or 20% speed killing 2000 times liquid, 2 kg per 667 square meters, spray once every 6 days, for 2 to 3 times, have good effect.

3. Physical control The use of whitefly mites has strong tendency to yellow. It can be hung or inserted into the yellow plastic plate indoors, and the oil is applied on the plate to make the flying adults stick to the board themselves, which has a good trapping effect.
