China's first hot-dip galvanizing process simulation device settled in Baosteel
Recently, the first domestic hot-dip galvanizing process simulation device capable of simulating large-scale continuous annealing, hot-dip zinc plating and hot-dip galvanizing iron alloy in the field was completed in Baosteel Research Institute. This introduced test equipment is a set of the most advanced hot-dip galvanizing process simulation system in the world. It will provide more accurate and diverse test methods for the development of new steel grades, new coatings and analytical field processes for Baosteel's hot-dip galvanizing products.
Baosteel's hot-dip galvanizing process is at the leading level in China, and its products are selling well in the market for a long time. In the past, due to the lack of matching experimental methods, Baosteel's R&D personnel's hot-dip galvanizing experiments can only rely on large-scale production at the site, with high cost and long cycle. The introduction of this hot-dip galvanizing process simulation device fills the gap of experimental means, which not only reduces the experimental cost, shortens the experimental cycle, but also diagnoses product defects by simulating on-site process, providing guidance for on-site production and improving production success rate. Strong support.
At present, this device has completed installation and commissioning and functional assessment.
