China City Minerals Expo held in Shanghai

Recently, the 3rd China Urban Mining Expo opened at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Peide, vice president of the United Nations Development Program, Chiang Kai-san, president of the China Recycling Resource Recycling Association, Pan Yonggang, secretary general of the China Recycling Resources Recycling Association, and Yu Xin, director of the Department of Central Affairs, National Development and Reform Commission attended the opening ceremony.

It is reported that this expo is the only large-scale renewable resource exposition with "urban minerals" as its main content so far. The exhibition highlights "innovative, professional, international, and high quality", attracting more than 100 exhibitors such as recycling, processing, utilization, kitchen waste disposal, and solid waste treatment. At the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, recycling of renewable resources was incorporated into the "13th Five-Year Plan" of the "Social and Economic Development" as an integral part of the construction of ecological civilization, which also made this exhibition of great concern.

At the Expo's workshop on the recycling of used tires, Pan Yonggang, secretary general of the China Recycling Resources Recycling Association, awarded the license to the Shanghai Hua Yitong Group, which officially became the vice president of the China Recycling Resource Recycling Association. Pan Yonggang stated that he hopes that under the guidance of the “One Belt and One Road” strategy, the company will jointly promote the comprehensive utilization of resources with the China Recycling Resource Recycling Association and make more contributions in product technology transformation. Hua Yitong, chairman of the Board of Directors, Chen Yu, introduced the company's strategy of turning waste into treasure and eliminating long-term black pollution caused by used tires.

It is understood that this exhibition has also opened the "Technology Exhibition Area" and "Internet + Recycling Category" exhibition areas for the first time, displaying the world's most advanced solid waste treatment technologies, technologies, products and other research results. Including the 2015 China International Scrap Conference, the 2015 International Renewable Resources Innovation Project Technology Matchmaking Conference, the Hazardous Waste Disposal Technology Summit Forum, the China International Forum on High Value Utilization of Waste Plastics, and the “Internet+Recycling Classification” Innovation Model Exchange Salon, etc. The exchange activities will also be held during the same period of the show.
