In gear machining, in order to ensure the beating accuracy of the ring gear, it is usually ensured by the process of grinding the inner hole before grinding. However, due to the deformation of the helical gear after hardening, it is difficult to grind the teeth. For this reason, we use the method of grinding the end face and grinding the inner hole first, and the effect is better. The gear is set on a special mandrel, and the mandrel is clamped between the two tips of the cylindrical grinding machine, and the small end of the mandrel is oriented toward the tailstock (Fig. 1), and the gear reference end face is ground. Both the inner hole and the grinding tooth are based on this end face. Grinding the inner hole with the tool shown in Figure 2, first tighten the flange 1 and the grinding machine, then the outer end of the flange and the inner hole
