Common mistakes in applying fertilizer to farmhouses

Fertilizers are widely used by farmers because of their high active ingredient content, fast fertilizer efficiency, and convenient storage, transportation and application. However, in production practice, the fertilizer efficiency is reduced or even caused by improper application measures. Several common methods of misapplication are listed.
1. DAP is applied with water. After the application of diammonium phosphate with water, it is easy to cause the loss of nitrogen volatilization. Phosphorus only stays on the surface and is not easily sent to the root of the crop. Crops have neither nitrogen nor phosphorus, and diammonium phosphate is equivalent to white. Therefore, diammonium phosphate should be promoted as a base fertilizer application. If the topdressing is done, it should be applied early, deep trenching, and soil application after application. Generally, the fertilization ditch is about 10 cm deep.
2. The surface application of ammonium bicarbonate is shallow and the soil is not tight, resulting in low fertilizer utilization. Therefore, the application of ammonium bicarbonate should be deep application of soil and timely watering, so that ammonia is fully sucked by the soil to improve fertilizer efficiency. Tests have shown that the deep application of ammonium bicarbonate can increase the utilization rate by 10%-30%.
3. After the urea topsoil is applied, it is eager to fill the water, and even the large water flooding causes urea loss. Therefore, when using urea as a top dressing, it should be applied with a ditch or a hole. The depth of fertilization should be 7-10 cm. Immediately after application, cover the soil tightly and pay attention to uniform fertilization. After the top dressing, 2-3 days in summer and 6-8 days in spring and autumn.
4. Direct dressing of superphosphate. Superphosphate contains 3.5%-5% free acid, which is highly corrosive. For example, it can be directly mixed with superphosphate. Especially after long-term storage after mixing, it is easy to corrode the seeds and reduce the germination rate and emergence rate of seeds. . Therefore, using superphosphate as a seed fertilizer, it is best to apply it in the seeding ditch and use soil to separate the fertilizer from the seed.
