The alloying element of 3003 is manganese, which has excellent forming processing properties, high corrosion resistance, good weldability and electrical conductivity, and strength higher than 1100. Widely used in kitchen utensils, food and chemical product processing and storage devices, tanks for transporting liquid products, tanks, various pressure vessels and pipes processed with thin plates, heat exchangers, rivets, welding wire, washing machine cylinders, etc.

Sapphire windows are ideal for harsh conditions, including environments subject to high temperatures, high pressures, strong vacuum, or corrosive atmospheres.

It has high mechanical strength, thermal and chemical resistance and is scratch resistant, making it very desirable for operating in harsh conditions.

Sapphire glass transmits between the UV and IR at 0.15-5.5µm, and has a high refractive index of 1.75..

Sapphire semiconductor substrates are available in all orientations including R-axis (10-12), C-axis (0001), A-axis (11-20), and M-axis (11-10). Substrates are available in various shapes (circular, rectangle, or square), from a few mm up to 100mm in size, and finishes according to customer specification. Primary flats(as per industry standards) are provided on circular substrates for orientation purposes; secondary flats are available on request. Substrate thickness' range from 0.013" (0.25mm) to 0.025" (0.675mm), depending on your particular application requirements.
