Yesterday, at the height of 305 meters above sea level in Shenyang Maoye Center, the first high-rise building in Liaoning Province, the fire department tested the newly purchased super high-rise water supply main battle fire truck. It took only one minute to press from the ground fire truck to the water column.

More than 305 meters tall staged "Dragon water absorption"

At 9:00 a.m. yesterday morning, 2 super high-rise water supply main battle fire engines were parked on the construction site of Shenyang Maoye Plaza. Compared with the ladder trucks and water tankers, they were smaller in size; there were no ladders or water on the cars. Cans and other external equipment, more like cargo.

At 9:30, the exercise began. With the strong pressure provided by the fire trucks, the water was sent along the fire-fighting water pipeline inside the building to a height of 305 meters. Standing on the ground and looking at the water spray, although the distance is more than 300 meters, it can still be seen that the sturdy water jets out. According to the firefighters' on-site test, the pressure of the ejected water reaches 0.4 MPa and the range is 15 meters to meet the fire water demand.

Solve fire extinguishing in high buildings above 180 meters

Currently, the height of the ladder trucks in the fire department can theoretically reach 101 meters. The existing ordinary fire trucks in Shenyang can only reach a height of 180 meters. If the fire location is located at more than 100, it is difficult for existing fire fighting equipment to come in handy. Water tanks in high-rise buildings also cannot cope with large fires.

In order to solve the fire problems of high-rise and super high-rise buildings, Liaoning Fire Protection purchased 39 super high-rise water supply main battle fire trucks, which were allocated to the province's fire-fighting forces according to the needs of high-rise and super-high-rise buildings throughout the province.

Firefighters introduced that the current domestic fire-fighting vehicles could not reach a water pressure height of 300 meters. The high-level water supply main battle fire engines tested yesterday were all designed and manufactured in the United States. The price of each car was more than 3.9 million yuan. During the year this year, the fire department of Liaoning Province will also spend 700 million yuan to introduce fire-fighting equipment.
