Mold installation, commissioning and handling instructions

First, the purpose

Through the specification of the installation, commissioning and unloading of the mold, the equipment and personal safety are ensured, and the qualified products are stably produced.

2. Scope of application

This specification is applicable to the installation, commissioning and removal of molds.

3. Operational requirements

Serial number program operation method precautions

1. Lower the slider to the bottom dead center

A. Switch the travel selector switch to the "inch" position.

B. Use the “two-hand button” to lower the slider to the bottom dead center.

Observe the angle indicator of the crankshaft during operation to ensure that the slider stops at 1 to 2 degrees below the bottom dead center.

2. View the mold height of the punch

A. View the mold clamping height.

B. Adjust the height of the punching die to a height higher than the mold clamping height (for example, add horn, add horn height) 5 to 10 mm.

If the mold clamping height is lower than the mold clamping height or the mold height plus the thickness of the horn, the mold is easily damaged during the installation and debugging of the mold.

3. Inspection, trimming and cleaning of the mold mounting surface

A. Carefully clean the impurities on the bottom of the punch slider, the work table and the mold hole and iron filings.

B. Trim the workbench and the uneven surface of the horn.

C. Clean the mold surface.

D. Confirm the air cushion device.

A. Pay attention to whether the surface of the workbench is uneven, such as uneven repair with oil stone.

B. Confirm that the mold holder fixing bolts are in good condition.

C. When using the air cushion, confirm whether the air cushion ejector is deformed, whether the placement position is appropriate, whether the length is suitable, and whether the waste is caught.

4. The mold is placed on the workbench of the punch

A. Handle the mold with a suitable handling tool.

B. Raise the slider to the top dead center and place the mold.

C. Confirm the mounting direction, structure, and condition of the mold.

When moving the mold, lower the fork of the forklift and transport the mold.

5. Mold installation

A. The mold is installed in the center of the workbench and adjust the position and direction.

B. Confirm the position of the horn.

C. Press the “Stop” button of the motor. When the stroke speed is about 20SPM, use the inertia of the flywheel to slowly lower the slider and insert the mold handle into the mold hole of the slider.

A. The center line of the feed direction of the feed die should be consistent with the center line of the material.

B. Confirm the position of the blanking hole of the mold to prevent it from being blocked by the horn. And avoid the span between the horns is too large, causing the mold to deform.

C. Pay attention to the operation of “inching” stroke!

6. Coarse adjustment height

A. Completely loosen the mold shank bolts.

B. Lower the slider so that it rests on the upper mold surface.

A. Push it by hand and check if the mold moves.

B. Must operate at the bottom dead center.

C. There are engraved, bullet-proof bosses, curved and deep-drawn molds that must be placed for debugging.

7. Fixed upper mold

A. First confirm the mold fixture.

B. Diagonal fixed mold 2 may be.

C. Tighten the mold holder fixing bolts.

A. It should be noted that the mold fixing bolts, nuts and pressure plates are damaged.

B. For the upper mold over 100kg, 4 positions must be fixed.

C. After gently tightening the mold holder fixing bolts, lift the upper mold slightly and gravity again to tighten.

8. Confirm the internal state of the mold

A. Clean the inside of the mold.

B. Examine the parts of the mold.

C. Oil is injected into the guide post, guide bush and other sliding parts.

Check for abnormalities in the mold parts, such as damage, wear, and installation errors.

9. Fixed lower die

A. Fix the lower die at the bottom dead center.

B. After fixing the lower die, raise the slider to the top dead center.

A. Firstly tighten the upper and lower mold fixing bolts by hand, and run the slider for 2-3 strokes. If there is no abnormality such as chattering or abnormal sound, tighten it from light to heavy; and fix the bolts.

B. Fix the fixing bolt of the mold as close as possible to the side of the mold.

C. The mold must not be suspended below the fixed part.

D. Pay attention to the abnormality of the guiding part.

10. Fine adjustment punch closing height (DH value)

A. Adjust the closing height appropriately according to the DH value or workpiece state specified in the operating standard book.

B. Place the paper and check the mold clamping degree.

A. The clamping depth of the blanking die is preferably 0.2 to 0.3.

B. When adjusting the bending die and drawing the die, pay attention to the indentation, the tensile marks and the changes of the angle, depth and shape on the surface of the workpiece.

C. Pay attention to the presence or absence of abnormalities such as uneven gaps and dies.
